It portrays his reported inspiration from the 11 September 2001 attacks and the motives investigators have described, before shifting to the emergency inside the cockpit. On 30 September 2026, a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv became the scene of a struggle for survival. The film recreates the FlyDubai cockpit attack involving an emergency axe, Captain Smit's resistance and the intervention of passengers and crew. As the Boeing 737 emergency develops, other pilots aboard help regain control and bring the aircraft to an emergency landing in Tabuk, Saudi Arabia and avoided an aviation accident. The danger extends beyond the cabin as the film depicts Israeli fighter jets scrambling in response to the crisis. From the cockpit emergency to the uncertainty facing authorities on the ground, this aviation movie captures the tension of a Mayday situation and the urgent decisions made as events unfold in this real story. This aviation thriller brings a new perspective to the Smit Machchhar story, expanding on AuraPlay's earlier FlyDubai incident film with the co-pilot's reported background, alleged planning and the wider emergency response.
