🔗 The Complete Method I Teach, Written Down — The Door, The Road, The Days Away: https://edbrannigan.com/
A gas station is one of the few places you stand still, in the open, with your car unlocked, your attention on a screen and your wallet out.
Nobody follows anybody at random. It's effort and it's risk. What happens is that somebody gets selected in a few seconds because they looked distracted, looked like they had something worth taking, or made the next few minutes predictable.
In this video: the pump you pick and who can see you. Leaving the car unlocked while you fill it, which is where most of the theft happens. Standing with your back to the forecourt. The distraction approach and why it's sometimes two people. Card skimmers and covering the keypad. And the note left on your car while you're inside.
Then the two that matter most. How to check whether you're being followed, and why you drive somewhere busy rather than home. And habit one, treating arrival at your own house as part of the journey, because the ninety seconds between the car and the front door is the most dangerous part of most people's day.
📕 Off the List. Three books at edbrannigan.com.
💬 Do you lock your car while you're filling up? Be honest.
