Description

Sebastian Rogers, 15, who has autism, disappeared overnight from his family's Hendersonville, Tennessee home on February 26, 2024. Despite one of the largest manhunts in Tennessee history, he has not been found. Law enforcement has stated there is no evidence of foul play, and no one has been named a suspect. Over the year that followed, Sebastian's mother Katie and stepfather Chris Proudfoot gave three major interviews - with local news, with a national true-crime broadcast, and again at the one-year mark. In this video - Part 1 of a two-part series - we break down six specific moments across all three interviews, word for word, line by line, using the same forensic statement analysis method we've used across this channel. WHAT WE COVER: • Full context on Sebastian's disappearance and the search that followed • Two clips from their appearance on Crime Stories with Nancy Grace • Two clips from their first-ever interview, given eight days after Sebastian disappeared • Two clips from their interview at the one-year mark • How a confident claim about their own legal status changes over the course of a year • Our honest, clearly-labeled opinion on what these patterns suggest so far IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ: This video is forensic language pattern analysis. It is not a legal opinion and not a determination of guilt. No one has been charged in this case, and Katie and Chris Proudfoot are presumed innocent. A benign explanation for Sebastian's disappearance remains genuinely possible. We are analyzing language patterns in public interviews, not deciding what happened to Sebastian - that is a decision for investigators and, if it comes to it, a court, not for this channel. This content is intended for educational purposes - to help viewers understand statement analysis and communication patterns they can apply broadly, including in their own lives. SEBASTIAN ROGERS IS STILL MISSING. IF YOU HAVE ANY INFORMATION: • If you see him or this is urgent: call 911 •
