Description

Could a giant inflatable ball actually save someone falling from a plane? 🎈✈️ The MythBusters put this crazy idea to the test using a human dummy. First, they dropped the dummy from 300 meters to measure the impact of a normal free fall. Then they placed the dummy inside a giant inflatable ball and released it from a helicopter. The ball fell at roughly half the speed of normal free fall and appeared to land much more softly. But the sensors revealed the truth: the impact forces were still far too high for a real person to survive.
