Description

A power station that runs your house clean through the first evening of an outage can be a dead paperweight by the second morning, and the reason is hours, not watts. This one works through nine rules for making a battery last a two-day blackout: sizing the outage in watt-hours instead of watts, keeping a real refill path, killing the loads you can't see, duty-cycling the fridge, protecting the pack from the cold that stops it charging, running one motor at a time, keeping the generator outside, metering instead of guessing, and writing the cut list before the screen forces it. The document at the center is a reliability standard that tells utilities to set their worst storm days aside, so the very outage you own a battery for is the one that officially does not count. Nothing here is for sale and no product is recommended.
