Feuds, Controversy & The Birth of Cinema - Lillian Gish | Hollywood Mysteries #142

She starred in the most controversial film in American history, and remained totally unapologetic. Lillian Gish even opposed World War II and found herself blacklisted for her trouble. And yet, she was the mother of cinema itself, the face that taught the camera how to look. So, settle in for another Hollywood Mystery, with the Film Noir mood of rain on a deserted L.A. sidewalk, deep into the night, as always. This full length narrated documentary series takes you behind the glamor of classic movies from the silent era though 1960s movies up to the cinema of the 1990s.
