Description

Burger King has thousands of restaurants serving the iconic Whopper in countries all over the world. But in Australia, as they often are, things are a bit different and Burger King isn’t called Burger King... it's called Hungry Jack's. So what happened? On this episode of Weird History Food, we take a look at the fast food business in the land down under to explain why Burger King doesn't use its more famous name in Australia and how the Whopper survived under a brand name designed for a pancake batter. Have you ever been to a Hungry Jack's? Let us know in the comments! (Much like real history, this video was produced entirely by human beings.) #hungryjacks #burgerking #weirdhistoryfood
