My dog was doing exactly what a German Shepherd is built to do. I was the one training the wrong animal. I was training a generic dog, using generic advice, and this breed is about as far from generic as it gets. So in this video, I'm going to walk you through the seven things I had to completely unlearn, and what replaced them. Not the stuff every training video repeats. These are the things that are specific to Shepherds, to the way their minds actually work, and to why so much of the usual advice quietly backfires with them. If your Shepherd is smart but exhausting, obedient but restless, loving but honestly a bit much, stay with me, because by the end of this you're going to see your dog very differently. #germanshepherd
