[7.1] Royalty - Snezhnayan Folklore Episode 1 - Genshin Impact Lore

Introducing Eneba BroPacks! An all-new way to get game keys and giftcards: https://ene.ba/Ashikai-Bropacks Need a top-up? Eneba's got you covered: https://ene.ba/Ashikai-Gacha WELCOME to my (hopefully short) series outlining interesting references to folklore, mythology, history and other things in Snezhnaya! This episode focuses primarily on the leaders of the Pale Star Court (arguably the least juicy of the references, I admit), but it's a little foundational to the episodes that will follow, so I hope you enjoy! See you all in Episode 2! **TIMESTAMPS** 00:00 Introduction 03:23 Quick in-game context 05:00 Dove Book 09:02 Monomakh 25:48 Anastasya 34:28 Closing Thoughts **SPOILER WARNINGS** - All main AQs up through Snezhnaya AQ Act 4 - Eye of Graeae WQs **RELATED LINKS** Snezhnaya Archon Quest Act 2 comparison to Nikolai Gogol’s Dead Souls (by OkRuin1905): https://www.reddit.com/r/Genshin_Lore/comments/1wlq5tm/lazzo_of_dead_souls_beneath_the_curtain_of/ **ATTRIBUTIONS** Video editing by QueerBunny Productions: https://queerbunnyedits.com/ Romanov excavation (Tsarevich Alexei): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0bUmHjLof0 Anastasia's Imposters (Weird History): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ESv4F0gFW_c Romanovs (History): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WYRMHKC9xMA Red eggs (Akis Petretzikis): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjCJWUQj8xE Vodyanitsa singing to Odette cutscene (Abyss Breakdown): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-aBsImjU_Y **CITATIONS** Citations: https://pastebin.com/0kANnhR8 Slavic Folklore/Mythology Resources (will be continuously updated over the course of Version 7): https://pastebin.com/0MijeWdQ
