Injured Pregnant Lioness Trapped in a Tree — The Rescue That Saved Her Unborn Cubs A pregnant lioness was found severely injured and hiding on a tree for three days after becoming trapped in a hunter’s snare. Her head was badly wounded, one eye was injured, and her ear was hanging dangerously close to being torn away. Despite her terrible condition, she had climbed the tree to protect herself and her unborn cubs. When a photographer discovered her, he immediately began searching for help. A rescue team arrived, but bringing a heavily injured lioness down from a tree was extremely dangerous. After carefully sedating her, rescuers secured her with ropes and lowered her onto a vehicle covered with thick mattresses. Veterinarians then treated her wounds and confirmed that her injured ear was still healthy. After receiving medical care, she was moved to a safer grassy area and given food. Slowly, she regained consciousness and finally began eating again. Thanks to the photographer, veterinarians, and rescue team, the lioness and her unborn cubs were given a second chance at life. ❤️🦁 A powerful story of a mother’s instinct, courage, and the people who refused to give up on her. #Lioness #WildlifeRescue #AnimalRescue #PregnantLioness #LionRescue #Wildlife #SaveWildlife #MotherLove #AnimalLovers #RescueStory
