Description

7 Places You Should Never Hang a Calendar in Your Home A calendar is the one thing on most walls whose only job is to remind you what you owe. Where it hangs decides which rooms in your home ask something of you, and which ones get to give something back. These are seven places I'd move it from, with the reason for each. What it does to your sleep when it's in view of your pillow. How it sets the mood you walk through the front door in. Why it speeds up your meals. Why some walls quietly train you to stop looking at them. Most of these take a minute to fix and cost nothing. One of the seven, practitioners genuinely disagree about, and I'll tell you where I land. Another is purely traditional, with no mechanism behind it at all. I practice it anyway, and I'll explain why. Start tonight with the sightline test. Lie down the way you sleep, open your eyes, and move one thing out of that line. I'm Jia Ling. I've practiced Fengshui privately for over thirty years, in Taiwan, Hong Kong and the mainland. You don't need to believe in anything for this to work, and you don't need to buy anything either.
