A devastating monsoon flood completely changes life in a 1990s Indian village. As the floodwater rises, families leave their homes with their animals and move toward the mountains. Through heavy rain, rushing floodwater, fear and uncertainty, the villagers stay together and face the disaster. On the mountain, they build a large Bamboo House for the whole village and create a temporary life together in the middle of the forest.
