He Lost His Dad in the Line of Duty… Then This Happened 🥹❤️

Five-year-old Dakota Pitts was facing his first day back at school after his father, Officer Rob Pitts, was ended in the line of duty. His father had served 16 years with the Terre Haute Police Department and was remembered as a hero by his community and fellow officers. When Dakota told his family he wanted a police officer to take him to school, they never expected what would happen next. Instead of just one officer, 70 police officers and sheriff’s deputies lined the walkway to welcome him back. Wearing his father’s badge, Dakota was surrounded by officers who wanted him to know that although his dad was gone, he would never be alone. ❤️
