What If You Saw Time Like a Fly, 4x Slower

What if you woke up with a fly's sense of time? Your eyes would take about 250 snapshots a second instead of 60, so everything fast would look four times slower: the hammer on your alarm clock, a milk splash, a hummingbird's wings, even the flicker in the lights around you. But fast eyes come with a price, and it shows up when the sun goes down. Every fact in this story is real science. Flies don't see "a thousand copies" of you: each lens is one pixel of one blurry picture. And most lightning really does flash three or four times. 0:00 Fly eyes 0:43 How fly eyes work 1:55 Everyday life in fly time 3:31 The flicker test 4:33 The price 5:27 Night 6:32 Your turn If it were possible, what superpower would you want to have?
