Let It Fall | Lighter side of Dark Synthwave

Rain falls on blurry streets, and somewhere in there, a woman watches the man she loves slip further away beneath a weight he refuses to put down. "Let It Fall" is a haunting darkwave synthpop journey built on rolling SH-101 basslines, punchy TR-707 drums, and ghostly analog textures - a bittersweet plea for release wrapped in cold 1980s nostalgia. ────────────────────────────────── 🎼 Genre: Darkwave / Synthpop / 1980s Synthwave 💡 Themes: emotional burden, letting go, love and sacrifice, isolation, release, nostalgia ✨ Mood: melancholic, haunting, euphoric, tense, nostalgic 🎙️ Artist / Channel: Loosely Based On EDM ( @LooselyBasedOnEDM ) ────────────────────────────────── 🪶 Lyrics: You carry the weight You carry it all You stand in the rain You won't let it fall You say you have to You say you're the one But love - look around you The war is already done And I can see it in your eyes You're tired of holding up the sky Let it fall, let it fall You don't have to save it all If the world comes down tonight You don't have to hold it tight Let it break, let it go You have carried this too long Maybe your part is done Maybe you can come home You wear every wound Like a crown on your head You take every storm So no one gets wet You built up the walls You kept out the night But darling, my darling You don't have to fight I know you think you have to stay But some things don't need to be saved Let it fall, let it fall You don't have to save it all If the world comes down tonight You don't have to hold it tight Let it break, let it go You have carried this too long Maybe your part is done Maybe you can come home Maybe you forgot What empty hands can feel like Maybe you forgot You can sleep at night You don't need the weight You don't need the pain You don't need the sky On your shoulders again Let it fall, let it fall You don't have to save it all If the world comes down tonight I'll be here by your side Let it break, let it go You have carried this too long Maybe your part is done Maybe you can come home ────────────────────────────────── 💿 About this track: Built around the analog warmth of a Roland SH-101 monosynth and the punchy digital grit of a TR-707 drum machine, "Let It Fall" blends euphoric synthpop hooks with cold, minor-key darkwave atmosphere, sidechain-pumped basslines, and deep, emotionally raw female vocals to tell a story of quiet psychological unraveling beneath a relationship's unspoken weight. ────────────────────────────────── 🎵 Stream & Follow: ▶ YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@LooselyBasedOnEDM 🟢 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/4850oFyaMCIFnOO6D9iH7u 🍎 Apple Music: https://music.apple.com/us/artist/loosely-based-on-edm/1865989364 📦 Amazon Music: https://music.amazon.com/artists/B0GDSC3FNT/loosely-based-on-edm ────────────────────────────────── 🏷️ Keywords: #darkwave #synthwave #synthpop #80smusic
