The Rise and Fall of Sara Lee

You probably know Sara Lee from the famous advertising jingle: “Nobody doesn’t like Sara Lee,” and you probably assume that jingle refers to the company’s cakes, pies, and frozen baked goods. But while it may have started out as a baked goods company, over time Sara Lee grew into a massive conglomerate that owned businesses selling pantyhose, shoe polish, sausages, Wonderbras, and much more.
