Jun Hae is 22 years old. Born and raised in the remote Tianshan highlands of the Meridian Union, Jun lost his mother when he was a child. With no knowledge of his father's identity, he grew up learning to survive on his own. Working as a technical courier and training in the martial arts of the Abyssal Court, Jun built a life through hard work and determination. Yet despite his martial training, he has never traveled far beyond his homeland. Until now. Among the few things his mother left behind was an old photograph. A beautiful seaside terrace. A traditional pavilion. Pink blossoms dancing in the wind. And the sun setting over an endless ocean. It was a place she had always dreamed of seeing. A place she never had the chance to visit. Years later, Jun finally saves enough money to begin the journey she never could. Leaving the familiar mountains behind, he arrives at Tianshan Gateway International Airport and steps into the wider world for the first time. His destination: Sunchase Island. With only an old photograph to guide him, Jun explores unfamiliar streets, meets strangers and follows winding paths toward the mountains. Every step brings him closer to a place he has known only through his mother's memories. But finding it means more than reaching a destination. It means keeping a promise. And when the setting sun finally illuminates the landscape before him, Jun discovers something he has searched for his entire life. A moment he wishes he could have shared with her.
