Where the Wind Would Go, Albuquerque 1975

Before dawn, the desert field is still cold. Burners roar to life, and a hundred colors rise from the ground. October 1975. A young couple climbs into the wicker basket of an old pilot's balloon, with no idea where the wind will take them. They drift over the waking city, skim the golden cottonwoods of the Rio Grande, share breakfast in the sky, and land laughing in a farmer's hay field. And when night falls, the balloons return to the field and glow like giant lanterns under the stars. Some days you walk, some days you run. And once in a while, you rise with the sun. Float along through 1970s New Mexico. Perfect for studying, working, relaxing, or simply escaping the modern world. 🎵 If this took you back to a morning you'll never forget, tell us in the comments.
