The Last Picture Show (1971) | Free Movie (Jeff Bridges, Cybill Shepherd)

It's 1951 in Anarene, Texas, a dusty, fading town where best friends Sonny (Timothy Bottoms) and Duane (Jeff Bridges) are finishing high school, chasing the restless Jacy (Cybill Shepherd), and looking to Sam the Lion (Ben Johnson) for what little wisdom the place has left. Over one bittersweet year, Sonny drifts into an affair with the lonely coach's wife Ruth (Cloris Leachman), while Jacy's mother Lois (Ellen Burstyn) watches her daughter make the same mistakes she once did. Peter Bogdanovich's black-and-white classic earned eight Oscar nominations and wins for both Johnson and Leachman, and it still feels like closing time at the only movie house in town. 📺 🍿 Buy The Last Picture Show (1971) Now: http://AAN.SonyPictures.com/BRuOCPQGi Some of the links above are affiliate links; we may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. 🔔 Join the family and never miss a rerun: @NostalgiaNetworkOfficial #TheLastPictureShow #FreeMovie #JeffBridges #CybillShepherd #TimothyBottoms
