Thousands of Jews Are Leaving New York for Lakewood — The Reason Will SHOCK You!

I follow the surprising story behind thousands of Jewish families moving from New York to Lakewood, New Jersey—and why this exodus is driven not by failure or fading faith, but by the explosive growth of a thriving community. Beginning with Yossi and Rivky’s final day in Borough Park, I trace the nearly 50-year-old plan that helped set this migration in motion. I explore: • Why Brooklyn can no longer physically accommodate the community’s rapid growth • How Lakewood became a destination for families seeking space and a future • The unexpected story of the first major departure—and the man who planned it #NewYork #Lakewood #JewishHistory #Brooklyn #Community
