What if you were the last person on Earth? At 9:02 a.m., you blink. And eight billion people are gone. Everyone but you. The coffee is still warm. The cars are still running. Nobody answers the phone. And honestly? You're fine with that. No traffic. No rules. No bills. So you live it up: a sports car through every red light, a king's crown from the museum, your name on a stadium screen in front of sixty thousand empty seats. But the fun doesn't last forever. The machines start to stop. The lights go out. The subway floods. Your only friend is a parrot who says exactly one thing. And some evenings, a bright star slides across the sky. Stars don't do that. It keeps coming back. And on day 365... everything changes. The vanishing is fiction.
