Fall Asleep to the Gospel of Matthew | The Words He Spoke on the Mountain | No Ads

#BibleSleep #ChristianMeditation #SleepWithScripture 🌙 Lay down whatever you have been carrying all day and let the words of Jesus settle over you like a blanket. The Gospel of Matthew begins with a long list of names, tracing Jesus back through David to Abraham, insisting from the very first line that this child is the promised King. An angel tells Joseph to call him Emmanuel, God with us, and wise men follow a star to a house in Bethlehem while Herod rages. On a mountainside Jesus blesses the poor in spirit and those who mourn, and the crowds are astonished at his authority. He calls Matthew away from his tax booth, walks across a storm-tossed sea toward terrified fishermen, and speaks parables of hidden treasure and unforgiving servants. He is betrayed in Gethsemane, crucified, and raised, and on a hill in Galilee he promises he will be with us always. No other book records Jesus turning to the exhausted and saying his yoke is easy and his burden is light, which makes this the gentlest Gospel to fall asleep to. Whether you came here for sleep Bible reading, Christian meditation before bed, or simply a calming audiobook to quiet your mind, may this full narration with gentle rain sounds carry you into deep rest as God's Word tonight does the holding for you. 📖 Timestamps (Chapters): [00:00:00] - Introduction [00:00:42] - Matthew, Ch. 1 [00:04:28] - Matthew, Ch. 2 [00:08:05] - Matthew, Ch. 3 [00:10:44] - Matthew, Ch. 4 [00:14:10] - Matthew, Ch. 5 [00:21:07] - Matthew, Ch. 6 [00:26:26] - Matthew, Ch. 7 [00:30:30] - Matthew, Ch. 8 [00:35:25] - Matthew, Ch. 9 [00:40:46] - Matthew, Ch. 10 [00:46:26] - Matthew, Ch. 11 [00:50:54] - Matthew, Ch. 12 [00:58:01] - Matthew, Ch. 13 [01:06:26] - Matthew, Ch. 14 [01:10:48] - Matthew, Ch. 15 [01:15:53] - Matthew, Ch. 16 [01:20:10] - Matthew, Ch. 17 [01:24:21] - Matthew, Ch. 18 [01:29:28] - Matthew, Ch. 19 [01:33:56] - Matthew, Ch. 20 [01:38:25] - Matthew, Ch. 21 [01:45:45] - Matthew, Ch. 22 [01:51:21] - Matthew, Ch. 23 [01:57:48] - Matthew, Ch. 24 [02:04:57] - Matthew, Ch. 25 [02:11:30] - Matthew, Ch. 26 [02:22:19] - Matthew, Ch. 27 [02:31:23] - Matthew, Ch. 28 🔒 About This Video This video was created manually and with care.
