In this video: the seven rules of my mother's rag bag — why nothing in her house "died whole," why flour-sack towels clean glass better than anything you can buy, the three grades of rags (the system hospitals copy today with color-coded cloths), how rags were washed and kept sanitary, the rag-underfoot floor trick, cloth napkins and the napkin ring, and the retirement rule that made even the trash can wait. Plus the honest truth about the kitchen sponge — the germiest object in your house. 📘 The Old Mexican Way — hundreds more old-fashioned household rules, written down at last: oldmexicanway.com If these old ways were handed down to you too, subscribe — we keep the house the old way, together. #papertowels #cleaningrags #frugalliving #zerowaste #cleaninghacks #grandmotherwisdom #floursacktowels #oldfashioned #householdhacks #oldways
