Doug Ford Delivers Brutal Takedown of Trump Over Chaos, Tariffs and Threats Against Canada

Ontario Premier Doug Ford delivers a blistering takedown of Donald Trump, accusing his White House of unleashing “crisis, chaos,” tearing up trade deals, imposing tariffs and threatening Canada with annexation. Ford says Trump’s actions have permanently changed the relationship between the two countries. Ford says Canada can no longer rely on its historic economic partnership with the US and must prepare for tariffs to remain in place for the long haul. His message is clear: Canada must take control of its economic future rather than remain vulnerable to Trump’s threats and trade pressure.
