That is all it takes for an open driver face to start bending your ball toward the trees. I spent years blaming my age, my stiff back, and a swing path I could never quite change. As a Korean coach, I teach the order that finally made my drives hold their line: square the face reliably at half speed, then work on the path. No new driver. No swing rebuild. 🏌️ This video shows you the three places that open the face before impact: your lead-hand grip, the first move of the takeaway, and your lead wrist at the top. Then I'll show you the slow “elbow down, palm up” release, the setup that moves your swing circle, and the five-o'clock path drill. If your ball starts left and curves right, or starts right and keeps going, you'll see why both misses need the same first check. Stay for the ten-ball test at the end. Start at thirty per cent speed, aim for a thirty-yard window, and count how many drives stay inside it. When six to eight out of ten fly straight, you can earn back your speed.
