Israel Releases HUNGRY PREDATORS Into Rat-Infested Fields - What Happens Next Terrified Farmers This documentary explores how Israel turned to barn owls and other natural predators to control destructive rodent populations across agricultural fields. What began with just 14 nest boxes became a decades-long experiment in Natural Rodent Control Israel, biological farming, and working with predators instead of relying only on poison. Farmers had struggled with rats and voles damaging crops while rodenticides also poisoned barn owls and other raptors. At Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu, wild barn owls eventually began occupying specially designed nest boxes and hunting rodents throughout the surrounding farmland. Barn Owl Rodent Control gradually expanded, helping reshape Natural Rodent Control Israel and reducing dependence on chemical methods. But the story is more complicated than simply adding more predators. Barn Owls Israel can also hunt non-target species when nest boxes are placed near sensitive habitats. The documentary examines Rodent Control, Biological Pest Control, Wildlife Pest Control, Barn Owl Conservation, Wildlife Conservation, Ecosystem Restoration, and Nature Based Solutions while asking how far humans should go when using predators to manage agricultural ecosystems. Natural Rodent Control Israel ultimately became part of a much larger experiment in sustainable farming.
