Description

What does it really mean to be a generous woman? When we think about giving, we often think about money. But Scripture shows us that biblical generosity is so much bigger than that. A godly woman learns to live with open hands—giving her time, resources, gifts, encouragement, hospitality, prayer, and practical help to the people God has placed around her. In this video, we’re looking at 8 practical ways a godly woman gives, straight from the New Testament, and how we can make generosity part of our everyday lives. We’ll talk about: ✨ Giving financially and intentionally ✨ Giving to meet the needs of others ✨ Giving our time and attention ✨ Serving our families ✨ Giving encouragement through our words ✨ Praying for and with others ✨ Practicing hospitality ✨ Using the gifts and resources God has entrusted to us The New Testament teaches us that giving should be intentional, willing, cheerful, and done according to what God has entrusted to each of us. Paul tells believers to regularly set something aside for giving, while also reminding us that God loves a cheerful giver. (Bible Gateway) And biblical generosity isn’t limited to money. We’re told to share with those in need, practice hospitality, use our gifts to serve others, do good whenever we have the opportunity, and share what we have. It’s to ask God: What has You already placed in my hands, and how can I use it to love the people around me? Maybe it’s money. Maybe it’s a meal. Maybe it’s an hour of your time. Maybe it’s a handwritten note. Maybe it’s opening your home. Maybe it’s praying faithfully for someone. Maybe it’s simply noticing a need and choosing to help. A godly woman doesn’t have to have a lot to be generous. She simply learns to recognize what God has given her and becomes willing to open her hands. Let’s become women who live with open hands—open to God, open to people, and ready to give. ❤️ If this video encouraged you, I’d love for you to subscribe to Keep It Simple Anna Sue for more biblical encouragement, Christian homemaking, simple living, and practical ways to live faithfully in the everyday.
