Description
In 1986 the Soviet liner Admiral Nakhimov sank about seven minutes after a grain ship rammed her off Novorossiysk, so why did she go down so fast when the Titanic lasted hours?
She began life in 1925 as the German liner Berlin, mined in the war and rebuilt. That night, two bridges each trusted the other ship to keep clear. Then the freighter Pyotr Vasev hit her in about the worst place possible.
You come away knowing what decided she would sink, what decided how fast, and what the trial in Odessa found.
