Description

What if 3,000 modern U.S. Marines suddenly invaded Tokugawa Japan in 1615? Japan has just emerged from more than a century of civil war. The Tokugawa shogunate commands enormous armies of samurai, ashigaru, cavalry, and matchlock troops. But then a modern Marine force appears with assault rifles, machine guns, mortars, body armor, drones, explosives, and tactics centuries ahead of anything Japan has ever seen. There’s just one problem: The Marines can’t be resupplied. Every bullet matters. Every vehicle burns fuel they can never replace. And as the Marines push deeper into Japan, the samurai stop fighting them head-on and begin adapting. What starts as a technologically one-sided invasion eventually becomes a desperate race toward Kyoto, where clans from across Japan unite for one final battle to defend their homeland and the Emperor. Could 3,000 Marines actually conquer Tokugawa Japan before their ammunition runs out? Watch to the end to see who wins. #Marines #Samurai #TokugawaJapan #AlternateHistory #MilitaryHistory #WhatIf #history #usa
