I Still Can’t Believe These 10 Anime Actually Aired

10 ecchi anime that pushed TV broadcast limits so hard networks had to censor scenes, ship different versions, or pull the show off the air entirely. If you love censored anime, uncensored anime, fanservice anime, and the most controversial anime moments ever broadcast, this Top 10 anime list is for you. From Highschool of the Dead's infamous bullet-dodge to Interspecies Reviewers getting canceled worldwide, these are the most censored and controversial anime ever aired. We're counting down the shows that abused holy light beams, shipped four different censorship cuts, and turned network standards into a punchline. Whether you remember these airing live or you're just discovering how far anime TV actually went, this list breaks down what made each one a legend. Which one is the true champion of pushing limits — "canceled worldwide," "eternal legend," or "how is this even legal"? And which boundary-pushing show did I leave off?
