Description
Ground Sloths (not all giant) had a massive presence in all South American ecosystems and many North American ones too. They weren't some ancient creature that went extinct millions of years ago, they were seamlessly incorporated into habitats alongside animals still living today. Then in a blink of an eye, in evolutionary terms, they went completely extinct.
