Description

Qiddiya City construction: how Saudi Arabia is building a 360 km² entertainment city giga-project known as "The City of Play" from empty desert, including the world's tallest, fastest, and longest roller coaster, a water park, and a cliff-top stadium for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Just a few years ago, this site against the Tuwaiq cliffs, 45 minutes from Riyadh, was empty sand. Engineers moved millions of cubic metres of desert, laid $590 million in infrastructure, and opened the gates to the first major phase on December 31, 2025. This documentary covers the full Qiddiya City construction process across all five phases: desert levelling, Six Flags construction, Falcon's Flight from foundation piles to first riders, Aquarabia water engineering, and the sports city including a $1.1 billion cliff-top stadium breaking ground for the 2034 World Cup. What's in this video: How engineers moved 7 million m³ of desert to level the site How 28 rides were built at Six Flags Qiddiya (opened Dec 31, 2025) How Falcon's Flight was engineered: 195m cliff drop, 250 km/h, 4.25 km track How the Aquarabia desert water park recycles 75% of its water How a $1.1B cliff-edge stadium is being built for the 2034 FIFA World Cup Subscribe to NEXTGEN MANUFACTURING to understand the incredible machines, blueprints, and megaprojects that built our world. #QiddiyaCity #Megaprojects #Construction #Engineering #HowItsMade #SaudiArabia #FactoryTour #Vision2030 #RollerCoaster #FullProcess ABOUT THIS VIDEO: An educational documentary on the engineering and construction of Qiddiya City, based on open-source information.
