TRADING PLACES (1983) Cast Then and Now | 43 Years Later

Trading Places cast then and now in 2026 — revisit Eddie Murphy, Dan Aykroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis, Denholm Elliott, Don Ameche, Ralph Bellamy and the faces of the classic 1983 comedy, 43 years later. "Looking good, Billy Ray!" "Feeling good, Louis!" Two millionaire brothers, a one-dollar bet, a street hustler and a commodities broker swapping lives, and the frozen orange juice report that changed everything. Return to John Landis's 1983 comedy and rediscover the faces behind it — from Billy Ray Valentine and Louis Winthorpe III to Ophelia, Coleman and the Duke brothers, with Frank Oz, Giancarlo Esposito, Bo Diddley, Jim Belushi and Al Franken along the way. This retrospective brings every character together with the performer who played them across the years, and honors those who are no longer with us, including Denholm Elliott, Don Ameche, Ralph Bellamy, Paul Gleason and Bill Cobbs.
