A high ledge makes an already tense encounter even more dangerous because there may be no safe place to retreat. The video is a reminder that animal confrontations can escalate quickly and lead to unexpected consequences. Keeping cats away from unprotected heights and intervening safely when possible can help prevent serious injuries. Although the fall looks alarming, the footage alone does not establish whether the cat was injured or survived.
