In a stormy fishing village, a young woman named Maelis hatches a dragon egg and raises the baby dragon Sorrel as her own, until she learns a terrible secret: every flame her dragon breathes takes one year of her life. Hunted by a ruthless lord who wants a weapon and a pirate fleet that wants her village, Maelis spends her youth flame by flame to save the people who once feared her, and in the final battle she must choose between revenge and mercy before the price of fire takes everything. THE PRICE OF FIRE is an original full fantasy movie in English about a mother and her dragon, and a bond that costs a whole lifetime.
