Julia Child's Cookbook Gets Rejected | Julie & Julia (Meryl Streep, Stanley Tucci)

After food writer Amanda Hesser puts her blog in print, Julie Powell (Amy Adams) finds her answering machine filled with agents, editors and producers, until word arrives that Julia Child (Meryl Streep) is decidedly unimpressed. Years earlier, Julia's own manuscript is turned away as too costly to print. With Paul Child (Stanley Tucci) and Eric Powell (Chris Messina) steadying their wives, Avis DeVoto (Deborah Rush) slips the pages to a young editor named Judith Jones (Erin Dilly). 🎞️ Watch Julie & Julia Now: http://aan.sonypictures.com/JulieAndJulia Some of the links above are affiliate links; we may earn a small commission if you click through and make a purchase. 🎬 Nora Ephron's two-timeline story pairs Julia Child's long road to Mastering the Art of French Cooking with the New York blogger who cooks her way through all 524 recipes. 📩 Celebrate the power of the performance with us: @MovingPicsOfficial #JulieAndJulia #MerylStreep #AmyAdams #JuliaChild #StanleyTucci
