This powerful healing prayer and worship music is for anyone facing a diagnosis, sickness, frightening medical report, uncertain prognosis, or fear about what tomorrow may bring. In Isaiah 37, Sennacherib tried to intimidate King Hezekiah by reminding him of all the nations Assyria had already defeated. His message was essentially: Look at what happened to everyone else. What makes you think your outcome will be any different? And isn't that what fear does? Look at the diagnosis. Look at the statistics. Look at the survival rate. Look at what happened to someone else with the same condition. Then fear whispers: “What makes you think your story will be any different?” But Hezekiah did something powerful. He took the threatening letter into the presence of God. And before magnifying the battle, he magnified The Lord. He declared that God alone is God over all the kingdoms of the earth and that He made heaven and earth. Today, we do the same. We do not deny the diagnosis or ignore appropriate medical care. But we also pray with faith and we refuse to spend more time magnifying the sickness than magnifying our God. Exodus 15:26 reveals Him as: “I am The LORD that healeth thee.” JEHOVAH RAPHA — The LORD Who Heals. And Matthew 14:14 tells us that when Jesus Christ saw the multitude, He was moved with compassion and healed their sick. So today our prayer is: Jesus Christ, have compassion on me. See my condition. See my pain. Touch me today. Jehovah Rapha, let Your healing power be made known in my life. The diagnosis has a name. The sickness has a name. But Your Name, Jesus Christ, is The Name above every name. So, the fear - lay it down! The medical report - Lay it down! The statistics - Lay down! The survival rate - lay it down! And Pray and magnify The Healer, Jehovah Rapha 🎵 LAY IT DOWN I lay it down, I lay it down. The diagnosis, I lay it down. Jehovah Rapha, You are The LORD who heals. 🙏 If you are believing God for healing today, leave your prayer request in the comments so this community can stand with you in prayer.
