Description

They did not kill Gandhi and Bhagat Singh. They changed what they meant. Gandhi questioned himself, wrote about his mistakes, weaknesses, desires and experiments. Bhagat Singh openly questioned God and rejected blind faith. But today, we often remember them through statues, photographs, slogans and political symbols - while their uncomfortable ideas are pushed away. A freedom fighter can be turned into a statue. A revolutionary can be turned into a DP. A question can be turned into a slogan. And once that happens, people may remember the name without understanding the person. This is not just about Gandhi or Bhagat Singh. It is about what happens when politics takes a great person, removes the ideas that make him dangerous, and gives the public a safer version of him. The person remains. The photograph remains. The statue remains. But the meaning is gone. That is how you kill the meaning of a man. Bhagat Singh’s atheism and his emphasis on reason are documented in his 1930 essay Why I Am an Atheist. #Gandhi #BhagatSingh #IndependenceDay #IndianHistory #IndianPolitics #FreedomFighters #BhagatSingh #GandhianPhilosophy #India #15August #telugupodcast #thinktelugupodcast Gandhi Mahatma Gandhi Bhagat Singh Gandhi Bhagat Singh Gandhi ideology Bhagat Singh ideology Bhagat Singh atheist Why I Am an Atheist Gandhi mistakes Gandhi truth Gandhi philosophy Bhagat Singh philosophy Indian freedom fighters Indian independence Independence Day India 15 August Indian politics political propaganda political manipulation history of India Indian history freedom struggle India Gandhian philosophy Bhagat Singh atheism Gandhi and Bhagat Singh freedom fighters ideology
