🎬 Evil (2003) | Full Tagalog Recap What if the school that was supposed to give him a second chance… turned out to be even more brutal than the home he was trying to escape? Evil (2003) follows Erik Ponti, a troubled 16-year-old boy growing up in 1950s Stockholm. After being expelled from school because of his violent behavior, Erik is given one final chance to continue his education at the prestigious Stjärnsberg boarding school. But Erik's problems are far from over. At home, he is constantly abused by his violent stepfather, while at Stjärnsberg, the older students have created their own cruel system of control called “peer upbringing.” The teachers know what is happening but allow the students to govern themselves, turning the school into a place where humiliation and punishment are treated as tradition. Determined to graduate without returning to his violent past, Erik tries to keep his temper under control. But when he refuses to obey the senior students, he becomes their next target. Along the way, he finds a true friend in his intelligent roommate Pierre, and develops a forbidden relationship with Marja, a young Finnish cafeteria worker. As the bullying becomes increasingly severe, Erik is forced to make an impossible choice: submit to the system and protect his future, or fight back and risk losing everything. But the more he refuses to break, the more the people in power try to destroy him. Eventually, Erik realizes that the real battle isn't simply about defeating the students who torment him. It's about breaking a cycle of violence that has followed him from his home into his school—and proving that he doesn't have to become the very thing everyone calls him.
