Fall Asleep to the Story of Elisha | The Prophet Who Raised the Shunammite's Son + Rain

#BibleSleep #ChristianMeditation #SleepWithScripture 🌙 Let the lamps go low and let this old story carry you gently into sleep tonight. The Story of Elisha begins at the Jordan River, where a young man refuses to leave his mentor and asks only for a double portion of his spirit, and a chariot of fire takes Elijah up in a whirlwind. Elisha lifts the fallen mantle and walks back alone into sixty years of quiet, patient wonder. He sweetens the bitter spring at Jericho with a bowl of salt, and he tells a widow buried in debt to borrow every empty jar she can find, and the oil keeps flowing until the last vessel is full. He promises a barren Shunammite woman a son, and later stretches himself over that boy's still body until warmth returns. He sends proud Naaman down into the muddy Jordan seven times, and the Syrian commander rises with skin like a child's. He makes an iron axe head float for a young man who could not afford to lose it, and at Dothan he prays that frightened eyes would open and see the hills already filled with fire. This is a book where heaven bends down to household size, which is exactly why it rests so well on a tired heart. Settle in for a full sleep Bible reading with gentle rain sounds, a calming audiobook narration made for Christian meditation before bed, deep rest, and God's Word tonight. 📖 Timestamps (Chapters): [00:00:00] - Introduction [00:00:50] - 2 Kings, Ch. 2 [00:05:56] - 2 Kings, Ch. 3 [00:11:07] - 2 Kings, Ch. 4 [00:18:41] - 2 Kings, Ch. 5 [00:24:32] - 2 Kings, Ch. 6 [00:30:27] - 2 Kings, Ch. 7 [00:34:58] - 2 Kings, Ch. 8 [00:40:44] - 2 Kings, Ch. 9 [00:48:06] - 2 Kings, Ch. 10 [00:55:09] - 2 Kings, Ch. 11 [00:59:26] - 2 Kings, Ch. 12 [01:03:25] - 2 Kings, Ch. 13 [01:08:09] - 2 Kings, Ch. 2 (2nd Reading) [01:13:15] - 2 Kings, Ch. 3 (2nd Reading) [01:18:26] - 2 Kings, Ch. 4 (2nd Reading) [01:26:00] - 2 Kings, Ch. 5 (2nd Reading) [01:31:51] - 2 Kings, Ch. 6 (2nd Reading) [01:37:46] - 2 Kings, Ch. 7 (2nd Reading) [01:42:16] - 2 Kings, Ch. 8 (2nd Reading) [01:48:03] - 2 Kings, Ch. 9 (2nd Reading) [01:55:25] - 2 Kings, Ch. 10 (2nd Reading) [02:02:28] - 2 Kings, Ch. 11 (2nd Reading) [02:06:45] - 2 Kings, Ch. 12 (2nd Reading) [02:10:44] - 2 Kings, Ch. 13 (2nd Reading) 🔒 About This Video This video was created manually and with care.
