Description

America's citizenship test got tougher. Under the 2025 version, an officer asks up to 20 questions from a list of 128, and you need 12 right to pass. We pulled 50 real questions from that official 2025 list. Score 30 or more (the same 60%) and you'd pass. How did you do? Comment your score out of 50 👇 WHAT CHANGED IN THE NEW TEST • The official USCIS civics list now has 128 questions (it used to be 100). • The officer asks up to 20 and you need 12 correct answers to pass (it used to be 6 out of 10). • It applies to citizenship (N-400) applications filed on or after October 20, 2025. HOW THIS QUIZ WORKS • 50 multiple-choice questions in three rounds: easy, medium and hard. • 30 out of 50 is the same 60% pass rate as the real test. • Your score at the end: under 30, 30-39, 40-44, or 45+ (citizen-ready). • The real test is spoken, with no multiple choice, so treat this as practice rather than a prediction. ▶ WATCH NEXT: Can you score 40/50 on our American History quiz? https://youtu.be/EHbfKf-mkhU ▶ ORIGINAL TEST: Can you pass the U.S. citizenship test? (50 questions) https://youtu.be/LvmaZmry60s CHAPTERS 0:00 Intro and rules 0:43 Round 1: Easy 4:46 Round 2: Medium 10:28 Round 3: Hard 14:52 Bonus question 15:15 Your score Questions come from USCIS's official list of 128 civics questions (2025 version, M-1778). Every answer is checked against two independent sources. Trivia Square is not affiliated with USCIS or the U.S. government. This is a trivia game for fun and education, not legal advice. How this quiz is made: Trivia Square turns the official questions into an original timed game. We write three wrong options for every question, add a fun fact that isn't on the official list (each checked against two sources), and build the visuals, rounds and scoring ourselves.
