There, Ganesha and Kartikeya respectfully welcome him, but Brahma, out of arrogance, ignores their greeting. Angered by this, Kartikeya questions Brahma about the meaning of “Om.” When Brahma fails to explain its true essence, 👉 Kartikeya declares him unfit and imprisons him, causing creation itself to come to a halt. Lord Shiva then approaches Kartikeya and asks for the knowledge of “Om.” 👉 Kartikeya asks Shiva to become a disciple, and then imparts the profound wisdom. After gaining this knowledge, Shiva instructs Kartikeya to release Brahma. 👉 Kartikeya frees him.
