Description
🔗 Understand What You Already Qualify For — every exemption, discount, and refund covered, state by state: https://lanamaynes.com/
A VA check worth up to $2,424 a month exists that has absolutely nothing to do with your disability rating — zero percent, thirty percent, no rating filed at all, none of it matters. It is called the Veterans Pension, and the veterans who qualify for it and never file do not miss it because they are ineligible. They miss it because of one number on one line they calculate wrong before they ever pick up the phone. The program runs on four lines, and line three is where the money is won or lost every single time.
The single most common reason a veteran talks himself out of filing is a four-second income check against his raw Social Security statement — before the medical expense deduction that 38 CFR 3.272 explicitly allows. A veteran paying $8,000 a year in unreimbursed medical costs can drop his countable income by over $7,000, turning a $203-a-month check into $797 a month. That is close to $600 every month for the rest of his life, produced by one form — VA Form 21P-8416 — that almost nobody fills out.

02:23 Line One — Wartime Service Dates (More Veterans Qualify Than They Think)
05:36 Line Two — Age or Disability (Four Separate Doors)
08:59 Line Three — How Countable Income Actually Works
12:35 If You Were Denied Before — and If You Think It's Not Worth the Trouble
16:04 Line Four — Net Worth Limit and the 36-Month Look-Back
24:43 Common Questions Answered — Tax, Work, Medicaid, and Stacking
26:07 Action Checklist — The Four Lines, In Order, This Week
This video shows you exactly how all four lines work, what the VA actually counts as income versus what you assume it counts, and how to calculate whether this program is realistically within reach using about five minutes of arithmetic. At the end, you will have a precise, executable checklist — the exact forms, the exact phone script, the exact documents to gather — so you can file a complete claim this week rather than set this video aside and wonder later.
