Imu may have one of the CRAZIEST arsenals in all of One PIece, maybe even all of anime. His 20 blades are truly something else. From Longinus and Gram to Honebami Tōshirō, Fragarach, and the mysterious weapons surrounding the Empty Throne, these blades could reveal a LOT about the ruler of the World Government and the war that destroyed Joyboy’s Great Kingdom. But what can they do? What are ALL their powers, and what do we know about them? In this One Piece breakdown, we’re going through Imu’s legendary weapons, their real-world mythology and history, their possible abilities, and what each name could tell us about the Void Century. We’ll also explore potential weapons connected to the First Twenty, including Cerberus, Yoru, Sekhmet, Durandal, Vajra, Parashu, and the Lance of Donquixote. Were these the weapons that defeated Joyboy 800 years ago? And could the blades surrounding the Empty Throne actually belong to the kings who founded the World Government? Let’s dig into all 19.
