There's a small Japanese move I watched an old man make every single time before he hit a ball, wet grass under his feet, early morning, no rush at all, feet together, arms long, a slow bow from the hips. I thought it was theatre. It wasn't.
In this video I break down exactly why that one repeated sequence, done in about five seconds before every club, is the real reason some golfers stripe it every time while the rest of us are pure one shot and fat the next. You'll get the three anchor points (hands, ball, back foot), the old kyudo archery idea behind them, and the priming swing that took one senior golfer from ninety-six yards of carry to one hundred and fifty-six, just by throwing the club, in his mind, out into the field 🏌️
Stick around to the end, because I'll give you the full five-second routine you can use tonight in your living room before you ever touch a range ball, plus the sound your hands should hear when the club is finally swinging free instead of being strangled by grip pressure.
This channel exists to hand back the simple, old-school habits that golf quietly forgot to teach us, so subscribe and join the rest of us figuring this out one shot at a time ⛳
