So when his girlfriend Elena turns up with two opera tickets, he says yes only to make her happy — convinced he is in for three hours of people screaming in a language he does not understand. He puts on an uncomfortable jacket, walks into a theatre full of chandeliers and champagne, checks his watch, and gets ready to fall asleep. Then the soprano opens her mouth, and the sci-fi guy ends up crying in his seat, on his feet, shouting "Bravo!" louder than anyone else. 📖 HOW IT WORKS 1️⃣ First listening — with Italian subtitles on screen 2️⃣ Second listening — turn on the CC (subtitles) to see the translation in your language 3️⃣ Third listening — no subtitles, challenge yourself! ⏱️ CHAPTERS 0:00 Introduction 0:18 First Listening (Italian subtitles) 4:57 Second Listening (with translation) 9:22 Third Listening (no subtitles) #learnitalian #ItalianStory #SlowItalian #italianforbeginners #comprehensibleinput
