The Unfortunate Problem With Ted Mosby

Ted Mosby was supposed to be the hopeless romantic at the center of How I Met Your Mother. So why did he become one of the show's biggest problems? For nine seasons, Ted searched for love while telling his children the story of how he eventually met their mother. But looking back at everything he actually did along the way reveals a very different character. While characters like Barney, Marshall, Lily, and Robin were allowed to grow and evolve, Ted somehow kept making the same mistakes while the show continued to frame him as its hopelessly romantic hero. And that may be the biggest problem of all. #howimetyourmother #tedmosby #barneystinson #sitcom
