I Binged All 7 Resident Evil Movies and The Fall Is Worse Than You Remember

In this video, we're diving deep into the beautiful, frustrating, twenty-five-year cinematic history of Resident Evil. We’ll trace the franchise's chaotic journey from Paul W.S. Anderson's decade-long exercise in slow-motion property damage to Zach Cregger's 2026 masterpiece that finally brought survival horror back to the big screen. We'll break down how the original six-film saga traded genuine scares for CGI slop, abandoned legacy characters to make Milla Jovovich's Alice an unstoppable god, and ultimately lost its soul. Finally, we'll explore how the parallel evolution of the video games - culminating in the massive success of Resident Evil 9: Requiem - laid the blueprint for what critics are calling the greatest video game adaptation ever made.
