Gavin Newsom Calls Trump an “Invasive Species”: “He’s Temporary”

California Governor Gavin Newsom takes another swipe at President Donald Trump, calling him an “invasive species” and declaring that Trump is temporary while California is not. Newsom made the remarks while defending California’s climate policies and its Cap-and-Invest program, which has been extended through 2045. He argued that the state is creating long-term policy stability even as Trump pursues a different energy agenda at the federal level. California’s Cap-and-Invest program places a declining limit on greenhouse gas emissions from major polluters and directs revenue toward climate-related investments. The program’s extension is intended to provide long-term certainty for businesses and clean-energy investment. #GavinNewsom #DonaldTrump #California #ClimateChange #CleanEnergy #USPolitics --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos, subscribe to our channel: / hookglobal Visit our website for more news: https://hooknews.com Follow Us On Other Platforms: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/hookglobal X:https://x.com/HookGlobalHQ
