What’s Going to Happen in Though I Am An Inept Villainess Season 2? | Manga Recap - I Couldn’t Wait

⚠️ Though I Am an Inept Villainess SEASON 2 SPOILERS! . . . . . Season 2 has already been announced for January 2027, but I definitely wasn’t patient enough to wait that long. So, I read ahead in the manga to see what we’re getting in the next season, and there is actually a LOT happening. In this video, I’m going through the major events that are coming in Though I Am an Inept Villainess Season 2, including the Harvest Festival, Reirin and Keigetsu’s body swap, the Kou brothers, the southern Shu territory, the Untouchable Village, and the kidnapping that kicks off a completely new part of the story. We are finally going to properly meet Reirin’s older brothers, Keikou and Keishou, and we get to see much more of their relationship with their little sister. We also leave the Maiden Court and get to see what happens when Reirin and Keigetsu have to deal with the outside world while keeping their body-swap secret. The Harvest Festival quickly turns into a disaster when Keigetsu’s instrument is destroyed and her ceremonial robes are ruined. With everyone already looking for a reason to hate her, things get even worse when she breaks down and her qi goes out of control, causing another unexpected body swap. And that’s only the beginning. We also meet Gouryuu and Unran, two people from the southern Untouchable Village who have been ordered to abduct Keigetsu during the festival. But they have no idea that Keigetsu isn’t actually in her own body anymore. From there, everything turns into chaos, and Reirin ends up being “kidnapped” with her brother Keikou while Keishou stays behind. I’ll also be talking about the Crown Prince, his painfully slow character development, and why I’ve basically decided to stop expecting him to recognize Reirin immediately. So if you’re curious about what happens in Though I Am an Inept Villainess Season 2, this video will give you a look at what’s coming from the manga. This video contains major manga spoilers for the upcoming season, so watch only if you’re okay with spoilers. If you have already read the manga, let me know what you’re most excited to see animated. And if you haven’t read ahead, I’ll keep reading and let you know if I find anything interesting. Thanks for watching!
